Reef Villa - Wadduwa

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely beachfront hotel on the west coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel facilities were great, with spacious and beautifully designed rooms that had jaw-dropping attention to detail. Cleanliness was perfect, and the staff provided attentive and friendly service. The location was perfect, just footsteps away from a fine beach. The food, especially the made-to-order breakfast, was delicious and exceeded my expectations.

Staying at this hotel was a truly luxurious experience. the amenities were exclusive and fulfilled all of our needs. the swimming pool overlooked the perfectly maintained gardens and the outdoor dining area was perfect for enjoying meals with views of the ocean. the abundant beach umbrellas and sun loungers provided ample relaxation in the sun. Our room had exclusive facilities, such as a large stone bathtub for two and a private sitting area, which contributed to a feeling of intimacy. the hotel is in a great location with beach access and a beautiful garden area.

The hotel provided exceptional service, however, there was a minor issue with the selection of restaurant dishes. the menu was not as creative as it could have been and could have offered more special diet menus with specific needs.

Indulge in the restaurant's delicious meals, prepared by skilled cooks who have mastered the art of creating flavorful dishes. the proximity to the beach and ocean allows for breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere. For a unique dining experience, the outside restaurant offers a picturesque setting amidst lush surroundings. Each room is meticulously designed with luxurious bedding, exquisite furnishings, and impressive antiques, ensuring a comfortable stay.

One minor inconvenience is that there is only one toilet paper roll in the bathroom, which may run out unexpectedly.

The exclusive luxury retreat offered an amazing experience from start to finish. the staff greeted me warmly and provided a refreshing drink and towel upon arrival, setting the tone for relaxation. the decor throughout the property was out of this world and really made me feel like I was living in luxury. the dining experience was also outstanding, with knowledgeable and professional waiters who provided exceptional service. the wide selection of breakfast options, cooked to my personal requirements, was a great way to start the day. the peaceful surroundings, along with the beautiful pool and spa, made it the perfect place to unwind.

One minor drawback was the occasional noise from the nearby train, but it didn't really bother me. the cost of staying at the retreat was slightly higher compared to local options, but considering the quality of the experience and the reasonable charges compared to similar establishments in the UK, it was well worth it.
